Ryan is passionate about design in all its incarnations and applications. His expertise in graphic design, user experience design and retail branding spans a variety of industries, including manufacturing, consumer goods, music and retail.
With more than a dozen years of professional experience, Ryan has built an eclectic portfolio designing for music, fashion and retail clients, including CityBeat Magazine, Foo Fighters, Ambig Clothing, Rise Records, Boys & Arrows Swimwear, PacSun, Electra Bicycle Company and Brass Foundry Brewing Company. On the corporate side, Ryan has helped such clients as 3M, Best Buy, UnitedHealthcare, Medica Foundation and Optum.
Ryan earned his bachelor’s in graphic design from The Art Institute of California. He lived in San Diego for 16 years before moving back to Minnesota, claiming he missed the frozen lakes.
Beyond the Bio
Outside of work, Ryan gravitates to freer forms of design as a collage artist. He also enjoys live music, hockey, golf and history. On weekends you’ll find him at a dog park with his black lab, Lucy.
